During the whole Absolute business, Tav and his LI kinda forgot to take the usual precautions one night and a few weeks after the Netherbrain is defeated they discover that LI is pregnant with Tav's child. Should be wonderful news, right? Well, there's a slight problem: Tav choose to become a full Illithid to destroy the Netherbrain. Hilarity ensues as the child gets older and starts to realize that no, it's NOT normal for your daddy to be a brain-eating squid monster.
(I specified Shadowheart or Karlach because there's no way in hell Lae'zel would let a ghaik near her child, even if he is the father.)
Bonus Points: -Shenanigans with the "aunts and uncles" (i.e. auntie Lae'zel trying to teach the kid how to use a greatsword when they're only 3, Gale and Astarion competing to see who the best "fun" uncle is only to lose to Minsc who wasn't even competing, Halsin being the only responsible babysitter, ect.) -fluff and cuteness galore!
